CookieNotice

We don’t use cookies on this website. There is no consent banner because there is nothing for you to consent to.

Last updated May 17, 2026

This Cookie Notice for Runloop Ltd (‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) explains how and whether we use cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit http://www.intervaltimer.com (the ‘Services’). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Do we use cookies?

No. Our website does not set any cookies of its own, and we do not allow third parties to set cookies through our website. You will not see a cookie banner because there is no cookie use to disclose.

Do we use similar storage technologies?

Today, no. We do not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or browser fingerprinting to store information on your device.

When we introduce the option to sign in anonymously so that your player preferences (such as your chosen volume) can be saved across visits, we will use Firebase Authentication, which writes a small identifier to your browser’s IndexedDB. This only happens after you take an action that requires saving something for you, and it qualifies as strictly necessary storage under UK and EU rules, so no consent banner is required. You can clear this at any time by clearing site data in your browser.

Analytics

We use Umami to measure aggregate website traffic. Umami is a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It does not set cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not track you across other websites. We also send the data-do-not-track signal to Umami, which tells it to honour browsers that have Do Not Track enabled.

Third-party services

Our hosting provider may set a small number of strictly necessary technical cookies in unusual circumstances (for example, on a password-protected preview deployment that is not part of the public site). These are operational and not used for tracking. On the public website, no such cookies are set.

Your controls

Because we set no cookies, there is nothing to opt out of. If we ever store something on your device under the strictly necessary exemption described above, you can remove it by clearing site data for intervaltimer.com in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block cookies and site data entirely; doing so will not prevent you from using the website.

Updates to this Notice

If we start using cookies or similar technologies in the future, we will update this Notice before doing so, and where consent is legally required we will ask for it first.
